I was sitting at Starbucks today working on my radio show editing and God gave me this thought about how we must go to certain locations to be connected to Wifi and I thought it was the coolest thing ever because I myself am always connected to God wherever I go. Without his powerful connection I get no service at all. Life is so much more fulfilling with God by my side. I can talk to Him about anything. I hope he doesn’t get bored when I go on my traffic tangents at time. I’m sure he doesn’t. Besides he could shut me up at any given time if He got too bored..lol!! I just think so many people have this walk with God all wrong. God is looking for intimacy at all times with us. I for one love the fact He is always watching me because He cares. He really does love me. I have seen so many doors open through His POWERFUL divine intervention in my life. Moments when I am just in awe of His greatness. I have a few shows coming up in town and I know He enjoys the worship I give Him through Djing. I must always stay connected to my creator. The one who knew me before I was in my mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5). It is such an adrenaline rush to know at any given time He can bring me to heaven with Him. Jesus Christ hug time for sure. Life is too short, but I am glad. I feel if my true home is in heaven, why do I need to stick around here for another 200 years? Let’s get this party started now. But I have work to do for the Lord down here so more people will be at the party one day. We are all connected to someone in some kind of way. My wifi faith connection is in full service and that will never be disconnected. God, I love you.
I sit here pondering on a man who changed the World of technology for everyone. Although, I do not own a iPhone or a Macbook Pro, I pay homage to such a great innovator, entrepreneur, and savvy business man of our time. He will be missed. Until the next great inventor comes out then Steve Jobs will just be another memory forgotten in time. Why is that? Because nothing on this earth matters once you are gone. You will go down in history as a legend or a nobody to society. Sorry to say that is the honest truth. No one thinks about the homeless man who died from the cold weather last year, or the little baby without food in a famine area overseas. But, if you are famous they talk about you for a few weeks than you are old news. Right? No one talks about Brittany Murphy anymore, Michael Jackson is no longer a popular conversation, and many look puzzle when you ask have you ever heard of the rapper Nate Dogg and Eazy-E? Sure the media may mention their names every blue moon but it just isn’t the same after you die. Which brings me to my point. The richest man of all time is: King Solomon. I encourage every person to read the Book of Ecclesiastes. King Solomon said it best: Everything in this life is meaningless. It does not matter how much money you have once you die. That time is approaching all of us everyday. There is no getting out of it.
I was hoping and praying that Steve Jobs was a Christian. He would have two perfect lives. One on earth and in eternity with God. The Bible teaches us in Acts 4:12: Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
What name are we saved under Only? JESUS CHRIST.
I found out Steve Jobs wasn’t a Christian. He was a devout Buddhist. When I found out this horrible news. It pierced my soul to think he was worth 7 Billion dollars and was unable to take one penny with him like God has always said. But, now what happens. By the way Angels are not star-struck like us humans are when famous people die. They obey one person and that is God. Either a person makes the decision to accept Jesus Christ or when they die the demons make the decision for them. No man or woman is bigger than God.
Mark 8:36 “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul.”
Steve Jobs had it all. Like I said before he was worth 7 Billion dollars. How do you spend 7 Billion dollars? The only way to spend that kind of money is God’s way…feeding the less fortunate, building companies that uplift Jesus Christ. So many times wealthy people get distracted with the things of this world so much that they think they may have 50 more years of life left on earth until BAM!!! THEIR TIME IS UP. God has a certain date for every person on earth and it doesn’t matter what your plans are that is irrelevant in the spiritual realm. When God says to the angels go get him or her. That is it. God doesn’t say well Steve Jobs is about to release the new Iphone 5 so we should wait and let him give a speech and then let him take a vacation for all his hard work over at Apple…no, no, no, no, no…it does not work that way buddy. If that was the case Michael Jackson would be on tour in Europe right now for the This is it tour.
Only what you do for Christ will last.
I was thinking with 7 Billion dollars couldn’t he afford to pay a doctor to take the cancer out some kind of way. I have seen people healed from cancer at church before. But, his protection was in Buddah/false gods. It should have been in Jesus Christ the one who is known for healing the sick. The more I look at this I see how God operates. He allows people to enjoy themselves in life but the people who do not acknowledge Him for all things, it appears their days on earth are cut short. The truth is we need to serve God in all we do. Jesus will help us and the Holy Spirit will help us along the way. God will never leave you nor forsake you. He loves us.
Sure the world will miss Steve Jobs. I am sure he was a good man. But the only thing matters behind deaths doors is did you live your life sold out for Jesus Christ who died for you and are you ready for the Judgement of a Holy God.
Keep his family in prayer for strength. Jesus Christ loves them and will give them strength during these rough times. God bless.
In the Bible the devil tried to tempt Jesus Christ with 3 different offers to interfere with the mission God sent Jesus Christ on to accomplish. Of course, satan failed. Let’s read below the story.

He hates all of humanity, because he knows God created all humans and humans were created to bring praises to God. Since the devil was kicked out of heaven forever, he is furious towards anybody who decided to accept Jesus Christ into their heart forever. The behind the scene catch of all of this is eternal life is only found in Jesus Christ and God wants a true commitment made towards him who created you with purpose. The devil’s job is to keep you distracted from learning what your purpose is in life. The devil knows hell is his eternal home in the end. He confuses people everyday and hopes they die so they can never get a do over in life. God is so merciful to allow people to stay alive even while habitually sinning daily. Now you may be wondering what does this have to do with Jay-z and Kanye West? Even they are scared deep inside because why would they even talk about somebody they do not believe in. They always mention Jesus but they are always mocking him when they say his name. My ultimate prayer is for Jay-z and Kanye West to give their entire life to Jesus Christ. God loves them and we as the body of Christ love them too and do not want to see them lose their souls over the lies from satan. This world is fallen and sinful. Just got the news that another famous celebrity has died and stepped into eternity to see God face to face to give an account for what they did in this life. Amy Winehouse is our most recent on the mortality list to meet death while in the prominence of her career. This is what her family had to say about her passing:

This boggles my mind that these celebrities chase after the fame, fortune, and glamorous lifestyle to throw it all away on drugs and a lifestyle of destruction. The reason for this is quite simple: Living without Jesus Christ fully in your life is second by second suicide. Nothing in this life will make you happy unless you give your entire life to Jesus Christ. End of story.

Satan hates God's creation. He will do anything he can to deceive you into thinking this world is all their is and will tempt you everyday with ungodly gestures to get your focus off of serving God. Amy Winehouse was very unhappy. She was searching for something and someone to fill that empty void in her life. Many celebrities are in search of truth but they refuse to give it all to God fully. They assume if a major record company signs them to a record deal worth 30 million dollars than they will be good for life. Well let's look back at all the famous people who had lots of money and still died from tricks of satan. Michael Jackson (pills/overdose), DJ AM (crack overdose), Jam Master Jay (brains blown out in studio), 2 pac and biggie (drive-by shooting/both murdered), Shakir Stewart (suicide), Easy-E (AIDS from sexual activity), and many more sad stories to follow.
God created every human being with a purpose. You have a limited amount of time to seek Him before your heart stops and you take your last breath on earth. We need to pray always for not only celebrities but the World has a whole. God is always waiting but letting time run out on you is the ending of what could be another tragic lost to your soul.
The devil sends out different demons that are assigned to you to get you off track and to indulge in the false lies this world has to offer. You must have a keen eye and spiritual discernent everyday and learn the scriptures to fight the demons and satan away. Otherwise, you will lose everytime.
Ephesians 5:8, 11 "For ye were sometime darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light; and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." So stop being entertained by wickedness and stop taking part in it. Stop calling evil good and good evil, and prepare for the battle that is at hand.

But, we finally tracked down this particular DJ who has been allowing God to guide his path in everything he has been doing lately. We had a chance to sit down with Oklahoma’s #1 Ministry DJ for a moment and see what this busy DJ has been up to in his ministry, family, and music.
Kevin: Wsup DJ Civil Rightz???
DJ Civil Rightz: I am doing well Kevin. How about yourself?
Kevin: Excellent bro! So getting right into the interview. How did you come up with the name “DJ Civil Rightz” and what does it mean?
DJ Civil Rightz: It all started back in my college years…My former best friend Joel Danker-Dake was cracking jokes making up dj names for me since I was working at a radio station at the time and the first name was DJ EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION but that was too long in my mind (laughs). The Joel said how about “DJ CIVIL RIGHTZ” and for some reason it clicked in my head and I decided to go with it. Far as the meaning of the dj name is concern it means “Full Freedom in Jesus Christ”.
During the civil rights movement in the 60’s people were fighting for freedom and equality amongst each other…so now I am able to have the freedom to be whatever I want in life and walk in full freedom while doing. I am a Christian so djing for Jesus Christ is my passion…GO JESUS!
Kevin: That is awesome bro! I like the name personally…its catchy and you are living with purpose. My next question is why Ministry DJ?..why not choose the secular industry?
DJ Civil Rightz: Actually I was once a secular dj for a Tulsa, Oklahoma radio station by the name of 106.9 K-Hits and I interned at 105.3 Kjamz for a little while too. Back in the day my motives was just to become some famous dj around the world and make lots of money. That’s all I cared about but then one day the Lord spoke to my spirit living within and told me I can either serve Him with my talents or I can keep chasing the worldly standards and lose my soul…I chose to give my life to God fully on April 21st, 2009 and I was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit on July 8th, 2009. It has been the best decision in my life thus far.
Kevin: But do you ever miss the old lifestyle? All the girls, the club scene, pre-marital sex, money, fame, fortune, the spotlight, people worshipping you?
DJ Civil Rightz: In all honesty Kevin I do not miss any of it man. That old lifestyle was killing my soul inside me man. I was blinded by the tricks of the devil everyday. My life did not line up with the Bible at all. Everything I was doing daily was literally spitting in God’s face. Deep inside I knew I wasn’t living right fully so I would say I will get saved by Jesus Christ when I get really old and I can barely move. I was so deceived. My heart goes out to people who reject GOD but at the end of the day 2 Peter 3:9 comes to mind. God doesn’t want anyone to perish. So God shows so much mercy and grace on our lives that our simple minds cant even fathom on earth. My prayers go out to the lost and I hope they find Jesus before its too late.
Kevin: What advice would you give a secular rapper or DJ who is blinded by the satan?
DJ Civil Rightz: I would tell them they only have a limited amount of time to live on this earth and God created you with purpose and so seek God to the fullest and the rest of your life will add up to whatever your passion is in life. Many people don’t believe in the devil or hell so the problem lies in their on perception and whether or not they are willing to hang up the old lifestyle and accept eternal life in Jesus Christ who gives freely to all who ask.
Kevin: Awesome bro. What’s the best event you’ve DJ thus far?
DJ Civil Rightz: That is a hard one man. I would say any show God called me to go play has been a huge blessing in my life…mentally and spiritually. Mentally I am getting better at many different aspects of djing and spiritually I am built up everytime I embrace the crowd with God’s presence.
Kevin: Business has been picking up for you lately…Tell the World about your mobile dj company?
DJ Civil Rightz: Sure. God put it on my heart to open the first Christian Mobile DJ Company in Oklahoma. It was well needed and I am glad I was obedient to pursue the dream of bringing God to every show and church. Kevin: Bro you are really living out your calling for Jesus Christ. That is just awesome man. Are there any djs or artist you would like to work with in the music industry far as mixtapes or tours are concern?
DJ Civil Rightz: I would like to do a few mixtapes with Eshon Burgundy. His style is nice. Braille is cold on the mic as well. To be honest I would love to work any artist God sends my way as long as they seek God on all projects and have a strong work ethic then we are good to go.
Kevin: How is your work ethic as a DJ? You stay extremely busy..How do you juggle everything evenly?
DJ Civil Rightz: Let me tell you I have a strong work ethic. In the past I worked with artist, producer’s, and djs who just moved to slow for me. I honor their work but I have deadlines to meet as a dj and so I had to build my foundation from scratch and pick and choose who God wanted me to work with in the industry.
Kevin: Who are you currently working with on projects?
DJ Civil Rightz: Meekness music Group, Henny P over at DreamXound Productions, H.O.T.L Productionz, and a few local artist too.
Kevin: Tell us a little bit about your new Christian radio show coming this Fall 2011?
DJ Civil Rightz: Man Kevin that is a dream come true bro. I was big on the secular circuit djing but God gave me the gift back but this time around for His Kingdom. Oral Roberts University blessed me with my own Christian top40 radio show every Friday night 9pm-3am on live365.com and oru.edu website. I am speechless at the many blessings God has sent my way and I will take good care of it for the rest of my days on earth. The show is called: Christ Invasion Radio…It will be a global show so what’s up to all my fans in Japan, Brazil, Africa…Holla!!!
Kevin: How big is your vinyl collection? How do you feel about CDJ’s?
DJ Civil Rightz: I got rid of a lot of vinyl records not too long ago but I do have some classics still. I like vinyl and I like turntables so I guess you can say I am really old school (laughing). CDJ’s are cool. I prefer turntables. But anyway God can use ya’...do it.
Kevin: What do like most about being a ministry DJ?
DJ Civil Rightz: I like the fact that I have a real relationship with my Savior Jesus Christ. I was foolish to think I could live my life successfully without him. Now I can go dj a show at a church and leave feeling good knowing I brought the heavenly atmosphere to their hearts and we party hard for God everytime.
Kevin: Word on the street is you are a Youth Pastor now in Oklahoma as well as a ministry DJ? How do you balance all of that with your family and your 9 to 5 job?
DJ Civil Rightz: Man Kevin let me tell you bro…It has been very challenging and tiresome many nights. I am actually going to be a youth leader ..I don’t have credentials as a Pastor yet, but trust me I know the word of God. This is sort of like a dream come true to have this position in a good diverse church and I love how on board my wife is about it. I balance my day very well working my 9-5 as Program Coordinator, then picking my son up from daycare, then getting my wife, and going home for dinner plus down time. Plus djing all over town is always more on my plate but deep inside I love it. This is the life I always wanted in God.
Kevin: What motivates you or better yet what does success mean to you?
DJ Civil Rightz: The word of God motivates me. Plain and simple. If the Bible says do it then I am doing it. I’m not perfect and I make lots of mistakes but I never give up and I always repent and keep chasing after God’s heart everyday. I LOVE IT.
Kevin: What advice would you give to the up and coming DJs and Artist?
DJ Civil Rightz: To find whatever your dream is in life then live your life through the Bible. For example if you like to dj you don’t have to be in the club you can dj in the church if you like to sing you can sing for the Lord or if you want to be an actor you can do Christian movies…whatever it may be just do it for the Lord and He will honor that.
Kevin: What’s your favorite Christian song of all time?
DJ Civil Rightz: Tough one. As a DJ I like a lot of different Christian artist, but right now I will have to go with the artist Pro his new single is HOT its called “Get It” and I also like a lot of Toby Mac, The Almost, and Lacrae is cool.
Kevin: When you aren’t Djing, what do you like to do to chill out?
DJ Civil Rightz: Man! I can’t recall the last time I had some real down time. I am always busy and my phone is always ringing off the chain (laughing). If I’m not spending time with my wife and son then I am djing at some church or I am studying my word or working on a new business venture. I stay very very busy daily. God give s me strength.

DJ Civil Rightz: First and foremost I would like to thank God for everything. Without Him I am nothing. My life is consumed by God’s presence everyday. There is no other feeling like it. Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
I am 28 years old. I wasted 25 years of my life doing my own thing. I knew God existed but I wasn’t trying to live for Him just yet. I can recall saying that I would devote my life to God when I turn 80 years old. I felt like having fun in the present and when the world can care less about me when I’m old then I would say okay God save me and my soul for a wonderful time in Heaven. That my friend is what I call full fledge deception from satan. Satan knows his final abode will be in the lake of fire for eternity. He is not satisfied with that, so he goes out into the world looking for people he can devour and convince that sinning is okay with God and everything will work out for you in the end if you give in to the flesh and desires of this world. I listen to the devil’s lies for years. I indulged in sexual immorality while in college, I was addicted to watching pornography for 14 years of my life being exposed to it for the first time in middle school. I use to curse and use vile language towards others, I was very sarcastic, I loved going to the clubs, I hated church, I was a writer for Ozone magazine, I loved and promoted secular music that brought shame to God. I was a total wreck. But through all of this God never took my life. He always loved me and stood by my side. The devil kept throwing fiery darts at my life and I took it. I wanted to be free but didn’t know how until one day on April 21st, 2009 I cried out to God to come into my life to save me and my soul from hell and use me to bring His Kingdom of Heaven Glory forevermore. God listen and saved me right there. My mother was on the phone with me when I was led to Jesus Christ. It was the best decision and highlight of my entire life. Since then God has been opening doors everywhere for me to work for him and I love it so much. God is soo REAL. If you look at a building you know there was a builder who built the building even if you never seen the builder working on the building. Same with God, you see the Clouds, Stars, Moon, Sun, Water, Earth, air to breath (unseen), God gives all of this to us. We see his beautiful creation everyday. Read Genesis again for proof. I am going to leave you with this scripture in Romans that touched my soul immensely.
Romans 6:19-22 "I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness. 20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life."
I won’t be alive on earth 100 years from now. So, the Bible tells me what I need to do to spend eternity with God and so I encourage everyone to let go of all sin and your past mistakes because Jesus Christ loves you and died to wash them all away and give you eternal life only through Him. Will you accept His Love today? Go somewhere privately and talk to Jesus Christ about everything and give your life to him. You will not be disappointed. God is merciful and so good. Be bless. Amen
For as long as I can remember I have been a huge fan of Hip Hop. I grew up in a Christian household where I would sneak to listen to 2Pac and Biggie albums. I would go over my best friend house and listen to the latest of Kriss Kross, R. Kelly, Usher, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Jay-Z and many more. The music made my flesh feel good during that era. Although, Spiritually, I was dead inside my soul from that type of music-satan blinded my eyes from knowing who God really was and how I was on the path of destruction for all eternity if I didn’t take heed to the scriptures in the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible says in Romans 6:23 "The wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
I love that scripture so much. It is very powerful. It’s meaning is telling you that you are born into sin when you arrive into this world due to the curse of Adam and Eve. So, until you accept Jesus Christ into your life fully and are covered by his Blood, all of your sins are wages being built up that brings death to your soul and physical being. For Example, Hip hop superstars, rock stars, strippers, porn stars, drug dealers, prisoner’s, and many more different sinful individuals are not happy at all. They have millions of dollars, but when you look in their face they are unhappy and battling with powerful demonic strongholds that are holding them down until they release it all to Jesus Christ for redemption and eternal life in Christ Only. The next generation and next generation of people are looking up to these people and wanting to become them, but blinded by the fact the wages of sin they are living in will end in death. God loves the World and he created you for a purpose but he hates sin now and will hate it for all of eternity. A person who practices sin daily will lose their soul at death to eternity in hell. It doesn’t matter if your logic doesn’t want to believe it or not. The word of God is Truth. End of story. I use to be a famous secular DJ promoting artist like Akon, Lil’ Wayne, Nelly, Murphy Lee, Yung Berg, Baby Bash, Mike Jones, 50 Cents, and many more...I thought life was about getting rich or die trying. Man! Was I wrong. The devil blinded me with hip-hop to keep my focus off of serving God completely. There is a difference. Titus 1:17 "Everyone claims to know God but they deny Him by their lifestyle." So every year at the MTV Music awards and BET Awards some artist will thank God for all their success although their music is promoting sin. Money, sex, drugs, cars, mansions, jewelry, darkness, witchcraft, illuminatti deception, going to the clubs, secular concerts, and much more. The devil works hard to keep you stuck in this mind-set thinking God is pleased with you. But the devil knows if you do not stop this way of living and give your life to Jesus Christ by the time you take your last breath...IT WILL BE TOO LATE. In my opinion I feel like God made the afterlife some what of a mystery so people can either really lean on faith and truly believe in Him or deny His existence and continue to sin to please the flesh. We can read through the Bible all about Heaven and Hell, especially in Revelation about what is coming very soon. People want to rush God’s return but remember God doesn’t want anyone to perish in hell for eternity so He is waiting to give you a chance to get saved, but He won’t wait forever. I enjoy sharing my testimony with celebrities and letting them know God cares about you and wants you to live in abundance. I have a dream one day Hip-Hop is gonna be shut down from promoting sin and Christian artist will be the only music you can find surfacing the earth. The dream may be far-fetched but hey! It will happen here on earth or for sure in Heaven. Amen
Jonas Bevacqua, co-founder of hip hop clothier Lifted Research Group (otherwise known as LRG), was found dead earlier today in Los Angeles. Bevacqua was 34 years of age. The company is also involved in the promotion of underground recording artists and sponsors a skateboarding team. Entrepreneur magazine ranked the company at #5 on its 2007 Hot 500 list of fastest-growing companies and reported its 2006 sales figures at an estimated $150 million. LRG’s ties with the hip hop community are strong, with many prominent names shown modeling their fashion in a series of ads. Alchemist, Drake and legends such as Pete Rock, DJ Jazzy Jeff and De La Soul have sported LRG wears in advertisements over the years. The brand also had close ties with star athletes such as Memphis Grizzlies standout player Rudy Gay and New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush. New Young Jeezy signee Freddie Gibbs also joined the fray, modeling some LRG gear for the company’s 2011 summer campaign.
I was sitting back reflecting on Jonas life and thinking about King Solomon in the Holy Bible, how King Solomon was very wealthy in his lifetime and never lacking anything his heart desired. Jonas reminds me of King Solomon so much. Jonas died very young. I have a feeling he didn’t see death coming his way this soon at the age of 34. God gave him the gift of designing clothes and what a wonderful gift that is in life to put cool garments on people in every season to come. But, digging even deeper into his career, I was pondering the fact that would if his true calling was to be a Christian clothing designer and preach the gospel to the masses while giving individuals style and freshness to their overall appearance. The Bible say’s: ECCLES 6:2 "A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease."
This scripture is really deep to me. It means God will bless a person with an abundance of wealth and honor but someone else will enjoy it once you die. So King Solomon explains this is vanity and it’s all meaningless under the sun. You can have the biggest, wealthiest, most successful company in the World, but if its not dedicated and honoring God it means nothing on earth. Sure, People will support your business and bring you much wealth, but once you die life goes on and you are eventually forgotten. God set it up like this for a perfect reason. Jesus Christ died at the age 33. Why didn’t God allow him to live to the age 90? I will tell you why. God sent His only begotten son to Love the world and die for our sins. Straight to the point. Earth wasn’t Jesus Christ permanent home. Heaven is where his throne is located. The same applies to God’s people. We are only here to accept Jesus Christ has our Lord and Savior and Love our neighbors while fulfilling our purpose in life before God takes us home to be with him for eternity.
ECCLES 6:12 For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
Life is short. Eternity is forever. Use you talent God has blessed you with to bring Him Glory everyday of your life. God honors people who follow these guidelines. May your life be fulfilling through the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Mark 8:36 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?

Exodus chapter 20. In the Bible you will find the 10 commandments being the law of God and what to follow to help guide you daily in life. God is Holy and very jealous when we put anything above Him. Society has took their eyes off of God and put it towards false idols. Lil wayne is a rapper who is selling millions of records and having people/fans worship him. The fans love him more than God. The Bible says in Mark chpt 8:35-36 What does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul? People chase after money, fame, and sex but then assume when they die they get heaven too. That is a lie from the devil. Do not fall for it. Open your eyes and see that God is waiting for you to live for Him everyday oppose to living for the things of this world.
Titus chapter 1:16 "Everyone claims to know God but they deny Him by they way they live."
So a person can say all they want they beleive in God and they love Jesus Christ, but if they do not fully obey the word of God in the Bible they are deceiving themselves and the truth is not in them. God wants realness not fakeness.
When you die will you call on lil wayne to help you or God? Who do you spend time with the most? listening to lil wayne music or the voice of God?
Heaven and Hell are both real places and your soul will go to one or the other. Do not waste your life on foolishness in this life but get serious about God. Jesus loves you. Death is for certain its part of the plan in the Bible. Read the entire Book of Ecclesiastes inside the Holy Bible for more understanding on life and its true meaning.
A lady told me she was a Christian so i believed her...but then she told me she went to a lil wayne concert and had so much fun. Newsflash: the holy spirit doesnt enjoy wickedness. we must be attentive to the desires of this world from the devil at all times. we must get focus...no one talks about Michael Jackson anymore, or Pimp C, or DJ Jam Master Jay, DJ AM, Rock Raida, DJ Megatron, and many more....why because the Bible says the dead is forgotten. life swallowed all that they did up and they are judged for what they did with their time on earth...this is serious business people. Lets live for Jesus today and continue to spread the word of God to the masses before we step into eternity forever....Amen
Dolla often spoke about staying focused on his music despite life's many tragedies. He told XXL magazine last year about how his mother had to battle cancer, his younger brother died at birth and his father committed suicide; Dolla was just 5 years old when he witnessed his dad taking his own life. Fifteen years later, in 2008, the then-20-year-old Dolla was out promoting his upcoming album and new single when he spoke to satellite-radio host Angela Yee about how he wanted to get his older sister out of prison.
That tragic streak continued when Dolla was fatally shot in Los Angeles on Monday night. He was 21 years old. While the up-and-coming rapper had worked with big names like Akon and T-Pain, he had yet to have his big break.
So who was Dolla? The MC, born Roderick Anthony Burton II in Atlanta, had traveled back and forth from his hometown of Atlanta to L.A. to work on music for the past decade. Da Razkalz Cru, Dolla's group with two of his cousins, signed to Elektra Records in 2000 when the MC was just 12 years old. The trio only released a single before parting ways with the company, but they did get a chance to work with Akon, who was also on his way up at the time. 'Kon and Dolla remained friends. In 2006, the duo forged a partnership between Konvict Records and Dolla's Gang Entertainment imprint.
Signed to Jive Records, Dolla was slated to release his debut, Dolla & A Dream, with contributions from Chris Brown, Polow Da Don, Jazze Pha and T-Pain. Pain sang the hook on Dolla's "Who the Is That" last spring, and the song became a radio hit in many markets, and its video got a lot of play on MTV Jams.
"My music is universal," Dolla said in his bio on MySpace. "I can do street music or pop music. But whatever I do, I attempt to make meaningful songs with substance."
Unfortunately, the young artist's dream will never be fully realized. His career and life were cut short when he was shot in the head in L.A. on Monday night.
"It's a terrible tragedy," T-Pain said in a statement Tuesday (May 19). "My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends."
Hebrews 9:27 says, "It is destined for everyone to die once then face judgement." After hearing that scripture you should want to evaluate your life thoroughly each day knowing the minute you die you will face judgement day before God. Not Allah, not idols you worshipped on earth, but God. Jesus Christ didn't die on the corss for fun it was for our sins that would have gotten us all thrown in hell for eternity. I wish the rapper Dolla could come back to life and try again, but this time for Jesus Christ though his music. Today, Dolla is in one or two places. Heaven or Hell. Only God knows. Use your rap talent to glorify God and not the sinful nature in this world. Don't waste your life people...time is almost up and tomorrow isnt promise...focus on Jesus Christ and no one else as an idol...Only what you do for Christ will last.
